BOPP Thermal Films - Premium Packaging Solutions

At Albatros India, we provide high-quality BOPP films (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene thermal lamination films) that serve as specialized packaging materials. These films are extrusion-coated with a heat-activated resin, typically EVA or LDPE, allowing them to bond seamlessly to paper, board, and other substrates when subjected to heat and pressure from a thermal laminator. Favoured in the printing and packaging sectors, our BOPP films deliver economical and premium packaging solutions, offering both protection and a high-quality finish.

Primary Types & Finishes

Gloss BOPP Films: These high-clarity BOPP films enhance color vibrancy and saturation, giving packaging materials like book covers, cartons, and brochures a polished, reflective aesthetic.  

Matte Films: Preferred for a sophisticated, non-reflective finish, matte films eliminate glare while maintaining underlying color consistency. Note that ultra-thin variants (18–22 microns) are usually not recommended for complex folding or creasing applications, especially when using premium packaging solutions.  

Specialty / Texture Films: Options such as Feather Feel / Velvet provide a premium tactile surface, while Anti-Scuff films offer advanced resistance against abrasive handling, making them ideal for various packaging materials.  

Metallized & Pearlised Films: Metallized BOPP films are frequently layered onto expanded polystyrene (EPS) sheets for building and rooftop thermal insulation. Pearlised configurations provide an elegant off-white semi-gloss sheen perfect for luxury gift boxes and cosmetics, aligning with modern thermal lamination films.
